Project Engineer- Frankfurt

We are assisting a leading contractor primarily involved in fire protection systems, life sciences, data centres, and pharmaceutical schemes. Due to continued expansion, we are actively seeking an experienced Project Engineer to help in successful execution and delivery of diverse projects in Germany. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of essential engineering projects including coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that services meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.  

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:  

  • Develop designs, specifications, and drawings based on project requirements and regulatory standards.  

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure integration of relevant systems into overall project designs.  

  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.  

  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.  

  • Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges encountered during construction, testing, and commissioning activities.  

  • Lead inspections and quality checks to ensure that building services installations meet project specifications and standards.  

  • Keep track and report any deviations or deficiencies in building services systems and coordinate corrective actions as needed.  

  • Prepare accurate and updated project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project close-out documents.  

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including obtaining necessary permits and certifications for building services installations.  

  • Degree in Engineering or related field.  

  • 2+ years of experience in project engineering roles preferably in Fire and Sprinkler projects. 

  • Effective communication skills both in English and German to be able to collaborate effectively to our German clients and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
